Yoga Haven SD is the perfect place to unwind, relax, and recharge your body and mind. Our studio offers a range of classes to accommodate all levels of experience. With a variety of yoga styles to choose from, including Vinyasa, Hatha, and Wall Yoga, you can find the perfect class to fit your needs. Deep Stretch & Mobility

Join us in exploring the range of motion your joints have to offer, and work towards strengthening these movements. Class will focus on isolation of hip, shoulder, neck, spine, knee, ankle, and wrist joints to foster healthy mobility on and off the mat. Expect to see a lot of well-known yoga poses to help open and stretch the whole body, so that you leave class feeling ready to take on the weekend. Props may be used to assist in deepening the stretch or to achieve better mobility. All levels welcome.

Hatha

Haven Hatha Yoga is suitable for all levels, making it accessible to beginners and experienced practitioners alike. With a strong emphasis on proper alignment and holding poses for longer durations, you will develop strength, improve flexibility, and enhance body awareness.

Slow Flow

Welcome to our Slow Flow Yoga class, a harmonious fusion of Hatha and Vinyasa Flow styles, offering a serene and intentional practice with a reduced number of transitions compared to traditional Vinyasa. In this class, we seamlessly blend the deliberate alignment and longer holds of Hatha Yoga with the graceful fluidity and breath-centric movement of Vinyasa Flow. With a focus on mindful transitions, you will have the opportunity to cultivate strength, flexibility, and body awareness, while experiencing a meditative flow that promotes a deep sense of presence and inner harmony. Suitable for all levels, this Slow Flow Yoga class invites you to move with grace, find balance, and nourish your body, mind, and soul.

Sound Bath

Sound Healing is a transformative class that combines gentle, meditative practice and healing power of sound vibrations. As you settle in, you will be guided to embrace stillness and explore the subtle sensations that arise, promoting a sense of introspection and inner awareness. The added element of sound healing, with soothing tones and vibrations, enhances the experience, encouraging profound relaxation and energetic balance. 

Wall Yoga

Happy Back Yoga is a specialized yoga class designed to promote optimal back health and spinal alignment. This class uses a series of safe and effective therapeutic sequences that target the hips and whole spine, upper back, neck, and low back. The Yoga Wall (coming mid-June) helps create spinal traction, decompresses the vertebrae, and opens up the joints through traditional postures such as standing poses, twists, inversions, backbends, and forward bends. 

Yin Yoga & Sound Bath

Sound Healing is a transformative class that combines the gentle, meditative practice of Yin Yoga with the healing power of sound vibrations. Yin yoga is designed to deepen your practice by holding yin yoga poses for an extended duration of 3-5 minutes. As you settle into each pose, you will be guided to embrace stillness and explore the subtle sensations that arise, promoting a sense of introspection and inner awareness. The added element of sound healing, with soothing tones and vibrations, enhances the experience, encouraging profound relaxation and energetic balance.  Additionally, this special class will incorporate the healing practice of Reiki, where gentle touch or energy transfer is used to promote healing and restore the flow of vital energy within the body, further amplifying the transformative effects of Yin and Sound Healing.

Free Flow Sunday

Please join us every Sunday at Yoga Haven SD for a "FREE" Yoga class with one of our amazing Teachers! Class is 'teachers choice', giving you access of what we have to offer. You may build some heat with a Haven Vinyasa Flow, slow the pace and focus on deep breathing in our traditional Haven Hatha class, or tackle the wall and go inverted with our Wall Yoga class! Oh, did we mention it's FREE!!! Great for all levels of yoga.

Power Flow

In this class you will move through a Vinyasa-like flow with emphasis on core strengthening, balance postures and building heat from the inside out. This class is designed to challenge the mind and body in all the best ways. Some yoga experience recommended.

Haven Hatha

Haven Hatha Yoga is suitable for all levels, making it accessible to beginners and experienced practitioners alike. With a strong emphasis on proper alignment and holding poses for longer durations, you will develop strength, improve flexibility, and enhance body awareness.
